Inman Technologies is in
the business to cure your computer of problematic issues that may arise due
to software crashes and hardware malfunctions. Any computer that is serviced undergoes an comprehensive 7 point check list that we have developed to ensure the proper working of your PC.
1) Visual Inspection External. a. Check all external areas of the computer (the case).
2) Visual Inspection Internal. a. Check all fans and make sure they are working. b. Check all wiring and cables ensuring they are connected properly. c. Clean the system as required. Dust Bunnies are not good! d. Motherboard e. Input and Output Devices f. Sound and Video cards g. RAM Memory Chips
3) Main system hard drive. a. Run diagnostic testing for disk errors. b. Repair any found issues.
4) System Security. a. Check for Internet Spying Software, if found eliminate. b. Check Anti-Virus software and Firewall. If not, activate. c. Run and update Anti-Virus and Firewall software. d. Check the system for Viruses. Remove if found.
5) Windows Operating System. a. Check Windows Operating System for updates. b. Run disk defragmenter. (improves system performance) c. Recheck System Disk for errors. Fix if found. b. Recheck operating system for errors. Fix if found.
6) Internet - Network Connections a. Check the NIC (Network Interface Card). a. If present, ensure an internet connection can be made.
